- Víctor Turpo
Victor Turpo is a world-renowned artist from Peru who specializes in still life art. He was born in 1942 and graduated from the Regional School of Art Carlos Bacaflor in Arequipa in 1968. In 1980, he obtained a bachelor's degree in architecture with a specialization in exterior and interior at the National University of St Augustin of Arequipa. He has won several awards, including the first prize medal of gold ERBA in 1968, the first prize ICP in 1970, and the first Honorable Mention Good Year ICP in 1974. He has participated in numerous individual and collective exhibitions worldwide and was vice-president of the Peruvian Association of Plastic Artist (ASPAP).
